there are *probably* 'prison agps' whose sexuality is caused by tfw no gf, but i don't think they make up any substantial proportion of agps and most believers in prison agp are non-transitioners trying to justify their repression

Seems innate in my opinion. I remember wanting to be velma when I wateched scooby doo in kindergarten and sometimes stealing my sister's clothes or mom's makeup as far back as then as well. We probably just have defective brains that make us susceptible to AGP.

The HSTS/AGP dichotomy does not hold since there is a fair minority of androphiles who are also like this and a fair minority of the rest that aren't.
Given that we've found male-female intermediate neural patterns in both groups I'm having a hard time believing autogynephilia is a cause of gender dysphoria rather than an effect of it.
This is not to say that there is no difference between androphiles and the other groups, but that this difference can be easily explained by the differences we have observed between androphiles and gynephiles in general.
