Ecigs was invented many decades ago too but like transition, never gained much attention by the public, and thus no studying happened either..
Seems the most study done on either of those started at or after 2000 anyway, and don't forget vaping is a lot more occurrent than transition, which means more results.
And transitioners in the 60s didn't usually transition in their early teens or even twenties either, which is becoming a lot more common.
