queer means different, unusual, deviant
it is an all inclusive term that can refer to anyone who is not straight
gay usually just means gay men although it used to mean gay women (lesbians) too

'Queer' literally has ZERO logical reasons as to why it should be part of 'LGBT+'. 'LGBT+' is already more than adequate when contemplating the inclusion of 'Q'. Anyone who identifies as queer is just trying to be fucking edgy anyway.
