Starting next month

Alright lad(ie)s, I've been getting hit very badly by dysphoria as of late, due to cutting back on alcohol and quitting cigs. Like, no matter how cute someone calls me or whatever I know they're lying, ECT ECT. Anyways, I thought I would take this opportunity to try and help other people like myself out.

I've been seeing a gender therapist for a while now, and have finally decided to go through with it. I by no means excuse people that have the potential and just sit on it rather than actually put the time and effort in like she did; because damn that must've been a lot of work, but at the same time not everyone has the same opportunities and circumstances that she did. Some people look at themselves at 6'2 with broad shoulders and huge feet and ask themselves why they should’ve even tried in the first place. There are things that are within a person's control like obtaining FFS, breast augmentation, and SRS; however, at the same time things like shoulder length, hand size, foot size, and height are all things that are out of a person's control after a certain age. For those that finally uncover, or reveal, their feelings after that point are then faced with trying to accept those faults as well as find happiness. Sometimes accepting those faults is the hardest part, and why a lot of people come here for validation on something that they believe they've already accomplished. Passing threads are where people want to double check with society's views on them through shitty pictures. I agree with the whole stop being a crybaby, but to an extent. Most "assholes”, like yourself and many other men, go through life with a much different view of yourself. I never thought I was bad looking, or had any "faults", until I started transitioning. I don't care what any woman says, just from personal experience of being surrounded by mostly females since I was born, most women have body image issues that they hide or have learned to accept.

Now add those issues on top of being born a man and being told not to worry about how you look for the most part, and having additional issues like being too tall, and that's enough to make you feel like shit. Especially after going through life being told everything you were doing to your male body was okay, that's enough confusion to send anyone into a mental spiral. So yeah people should stop being crybabies and learn to love themselves and move on, but at the same time some have retracted themselves so much from life that its now harder for them to feel the strength to do simple things like get up, or work. Most already feel so defeated, and are too scared to do anything. Especially considering most of them are all alone, and are not living in good conditions. Most have been exiled by people that they once had an extremely high regard for, whether it be their presence or approval in their life. You get to a point where the hole is so deep it's easier to keep going down then to start the long journey out of it. Not saying it's right by any means, but you shouldn't kick people when their already 10ft under I guess. I'm honestly just really sick of seeing the "put work in" argument in every board because sometimes it doesn't matter how much work you put in, it won't change that fact that you 6'2 until you die. It doesn’t change the fact that this little hiccup in someones transition can be enough to halt any type of production they may add to society for some time. The scariest part though is that to some people letting depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts eat away at their life feels safer to them then them actually trying to do something or hoping someone will either help or notice in time to do something that can help them.
