Yes.
You can bulk up easily by eating high protein lean meat diet getting carbs from healthy stuff like vegetables and rice as opposed to fries and red meat.
The whole bulking thing gets taken way too far your supposed to eat a bit more not a tonne of crap.
I'm cutting like crazy and not even lifting and I'm not losing muscle right now.
You can only get so far not doing heavy compounds trust me.

Olympic bar activates lower back more strongly than hexbar does due to the knee angle.... which is why people tend to use the hexbar because they can "lift more" with it.

That is horrible logic tho. That is literally like saying "well I know I am drunk, but I am gonna drive home 20mph over the speed limit that way I wont be out on the road drunk driving for as long". Break down in form is an obvious sign you are starting to fatigue, this is your body saying "lets take a break", not "lets go a bit harder"

You look very strong from an FtM anon, and you are doing the right thing by working out, but please use your brain. Study the forms, and do them right. You are only 18 you have your whole life ahead of you, you dont want to live a life of repeated injury and constant pain just because you wanted to get a bit stronger a bit faster.

When it's back day, I will use an olympic bar for my normal conventional deadlifts. Again, I use the hexbar because I like the way it activates my back on LEG day, where I am focusing dominantly on my legs, and don't want to completely burn myself out with unnecessary movements.
Again, I focus on form religiously, but it's difficult to determine if I can complete the set with perfect form all the way through, and I'll keep that in mind next time I go. Appreciate the advice tho, thx.

Starting Strength is just that it is an intro program for strength training, I dont think the vast majority of people are going to be Power Lifters so the long term applicability of SS as a "routine" is bad IMO. However what SS does far better than anything else is teach the "Big 4" (Over Head Press, Bench Press, Squat Lift, Dead Lift) plus it also teaches the Power Clean. Rippetoe is a very good teacher and the SS videos are extremely good and easy to understand while he also explains the bio-mechanics behind the movements.

Starting Strength gives the foundational knowledge of the Big 4 movements, and the basics of progressive loading, etc. Now a lot of this information you can get from any one of 10,000,000 Youtube fitness channels, but Rippetoe teaches it in in a step by step, in depth, academic way with lots of examples of proper/improper form, techniques, things to watch out for, etc. and you absolutely have to know this stuff to actually know what the fuck you are doing.

Once you "graduate" SS then you can really start to figure out what your goals are, why you are lifting, and actually creating a routine and diet that fit that.

That is a complex topic of discussion. You need to focus first on what your intake requirements are in terms of calories and macro (protein, fat, carb) ratios and then you need to stick to that as closely as possible.

Salmon is objectively better than chicken due to higher quality fats lower cholesterol and more potassium, broccoli/kale/spinach are all roughly equivalent for fiber and micronutrients, bananas are objectively better than rice for carbs due to their micronutrient content. That is not to say that there is anything wrong with Chicken, broccoli, and rice, its more complex than that. There are budgetary, accessibility, convenience, etc concerns that have to be addressed when you design your diet.

Your diet meeting your caloric and macro targets is the MOST important consideration. After that you do want to use minimally processed, and raw as a guideline simply because that is the best way to get the most micronutrients into your body, which help the macronutrients support your life functions including building muscle. Other than that it is really about what you want to and are willing to eat so that you remain on a sustainable way of eating. You should think of it as a lifestyle change, not a "diet".

For working out learn the "Big 4" movements from Starting Strength the videos are on Youtube for free.

For dieting learn to read nutrition labels, learn to use nutrition databases to better understand what vitamins and minerals (micronutrients) are in food you have access to

Here's me most recently. I just do distance running and calisthenics(shit ton of push-ups, situps, pullups). Starting to do some curls and lat raises so I can look bigger in clothes. Only part of legs I care about is the ass, which is decent because I live in the Hill country and running hills uses glutes a lot. I literally have stretch marks on my butt.

I'm like, 150-160lbs usually. Not enough to be "Fat", but enough to be a bit pudgy and soft. My boyfriend likes it. I gain and lose weight very easily.

If I eat right (Read: Stop smoking so much fucking pot) and stay under ~1500 calories a day I slim down to about 135.

I used to be way more self-conscious about my weight until I started transitioning, and then the bodyfat rearranged into good places instead of the stomach. Now I'm pretty okay with my current weight, although I wouldn't mind being closer to 140.

I don't exercise at all and I'm pretty sedentary. I do little things to help - Squat when I pee, take the stairs, walk places when possible. I also avoid soda like the plague and drink seltzer or regular water instead.

I'm not a beginner anymore but I am a lot weaker then I'd like to be.

Honestly I dont have a set routine right now. Just kinda been winging it. Still getting over a breakup so hopefully after im over it ill set a full routine. But before I was just doing an Upper and Lower body split with cardio days in between.
