The government and society here really scare me and I hope I'll eventually be able to move to a more accepting place. But that's not something I'll be able to pull of in the foreseeable future.

I'm not out yet(have to work on my voice and weight), so I can't comment on many issues trans people might face here. I know several people who already look and sound like girls(i.e. gendered female by strangers), but still have male ID, so they're kinda stuck in a weird gender limbo at their job/uni. Also, I have a bunch of friends who are pre-everything for various reasons.
But, as far as I know, stuff like employment discrimination is pretty much a thing here. The society is also pretty homophobic/transphobic too, even the opposition circles. Thankfully, I have some supporting friends online.
