When none of the online medication websites delivers to Canada except Qhi- and they're probably being shut down right now.
How can all forms of self medding be essentially outlawed when people do it of ultimate desperation. especially hrt.
>Tfw if Qhi shuts down i'll be forced to be a half finished hon thanks Canada I'm moving to the states lol
>>
I'm in canada and this shit's free for me.
What.

Being a hon would imply I have the meds to mess up with. I'm worst than a hon- I'm a forced repressed hon
>>
>>8411643
can't you guys just change your legal gender on a whim? don't you have some informed consent?
i refuse to believe your situation is worse than europe
>>
You know, Blanchard lives in Canada :^)
For real though OP, sorry to hear that. Good luck.
>>
>>8411659
>>8411672
My hrt is covered too lmao
(including my $1300 lupron shots)
>>
>>8411705
In Norway we can now swap legal sex on a whim, doesn't give hormones on a whim though, and other than random Indian pharmacies on Google only qhi ships here too.. thankfully I'm stacked for a while though, maybe till I get legal meds anyway..

>>8411643
> being shut down right now
Possible especially with the rise in self medication in the trans community but I also find it unlikely since they've been at this for over 2 decades now..
>>
>>8411892
>>8411643
> being shut down right now
Most likely for a while now, never got my last order of spiro. Thankfully I'm on prescription now and hopefully switching to shots in a few days.
>>
>>8411789

>including my $1300 lupron shots

Doesn't matter since you didn't get them before puberty, does it?
>>
>>8411643
Bet you there is a selection of online pharmacies through onions.
>>
>>8411643
Ask trudeau for help
>when your PM is so retarded this might actually work
>>
>>8411643
Pro tip: Just say you already have have HRT and ask for them to help you reduce your risk by prescribing to you.

If they say no just go to the next doctor. You'll have HRT by the end of the day.
>>
>qhi shutting down
FUCK
Why
>>
>>8412193
I might have to
>>8412292
>>8411937
Like whats the chances that they are being shut down as opposed to other things. it hasn't been long and if they were shutting down they would say.
>>
>>8412353
>they would say
Unless they got raided lol
Though I doubt it, why would they just suddenly raid them after 21 years, their address and everything is public information..

Maybe they're just having a surprise maintenance day
>>
>>8412423
I would hope so.. i dished out 150 this month and expecting a redelivery from last month ive been off the pill for about 3 months... fml

>>
I noticed that QHI is down but they did also go down for a few days a couple of months ago and then it was fine again and while some orders were delayed by a couple of weeks without explanation they eventually turned up. Hopefully this is just more of that. They do have web design right out of the 90s after all.
>>
>>8412193
this doesn't work in the UK
bridging prescriptions are no longer NHS policy as of a couple of months ago, all GPs have been told they're no longer allowed to do them
>>
Doesn't Canada have informed consent clinics in the major cities?
>>
The reason I'm hopeful atm this is just ordinary downtime issues is that when AssetChemist got hit by a sting operation and reported to the police it hit The Independent the same day, whereas there's nothing on this anywhere online so far. While QHI ships from Portugal and has prices in Euros, it's actually all bullshit and they're based inside the UK.

It's simple.
The Canadian government wants full control over your hormones.
>>
>>8412728
Posted to show the similar design on all the websites there..
Also qhi is registered under this it seems
>http://www.bristolindex.co.uk
>>
>>8412758
Btw I do think qhis design have improved a tiny bit since 95 though (albeit it do look 90s still).

Do people not realize that they design really shitty sites or something? I can't believe people pay money for that lol

It makes perfect sense to outlaw self medding if they want to push you into burning down shit.
>>
>>8413551

Getting GnRH covered doesn't truly matter once puberty has done its work, so why brag about it?
>>
>>8411892
Hey, norwegian here. What is the situation for me if i decide to self med? Where do you get yours? Just curious and too lazy to look it up.
>>
>>8411643
I thought Canada was pro trans and had informed consent. BC has informed consent at least.
>>
>>8414344
In Alberta you can get informed consent from your GP if they let you. Typically they won't do it though. If you go through the whole process normally you need to do 1 year of RLE and therapy before hormones not including the 3-9 month wait list to get into therapy.
It makes things way easier if you self-med before seeing a doctor since you'll most likely get a prescription on the spot and you can skip therapy. I'd imagine even if you simply used stuff like pueraria mirifica and got some boob growth that would be good enough to qualify as "self-medding" cause it's not like you get interrogated about it that much.
>>
>>8414389
Ftm in Alberta... you just neex to find the right GP. Mine put me on T while I was waiting to see... whatsisname: Warneke
>>
>>8414465
Yeah my last GP was pretty old and curmudgeonly, I wouldn't even have attempted it lol
The only thing I've actually done at my current doctor is go for std tests though before I knew you could order OraQuick for like $3 on amazon lol. No idea how to bring up hormones though. Plus I'm just not really looking forward to going through the whole medical system, I'm not a huge fan of therapists and doctors. For now self-medding is just fine.
>>
>>8414389
>Typically they won't
Calgary, AB here

I told my GP, she prescribed me spiro and gave me a referral to a psychiatrist who deals with this stuff. First appointment with him he gave me a referral to an endocrinologist, I see him next Wednesday and presumably he's giving me hormones on the spot
>>
>>8414493
Well at least that gives me hope. I'm mostly just wanting to avoid therapists. I'd be fine with endo's or whatever.
>>
>>8414477
Dunno if warneke is still the line gatekeeper in Alta but he is a frazzled little jew, nice guy but o
verworjed. Pretty much will wave you through unless you have some serious red flags
>>
>>8414112
Jack Nicholson?
>>
>>8414389
Wow no wonder why trans has been so uncommon until recently. Your typical beta male/failed male AGP nerd is just gonna repress if they have to go through all that.
>>
>>8414602
If it wasn't for the fact that I was pretty nerdy I probably wouldn't have ever been able to transition. The majority of trans info I found on 4chan and a few other sites. Plus when I started ordering drugs off the internet is when estrogen/aa's were still all silk road and stuff.
I've talked to a few other normie trans people and if they're like 30+ years old they had no clue you could self-med or anything like that. A lot of people also take for granted the fact that 4chan is anonymous and you can spew all your tranny shit all over the place on here which actually helps a lot lol
>>
>>8414623
Ya the self med stuff was shocking. I only got into 4chan a few years ago due to my gender issues, and only because r/asktg would mention /lgbt/. I deeply regret not being a channer back in its glory days.
>>
>>8414747
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE back to r eddit
>>
>>8414747
This is probably still one of the only sites that actually represents the risk of self-medding correctly as well.
If you post it on a place like susans all of a sudden a 1 in 10,000 chance of developing a blood clot is now a 99% chance according to them.
>>
>>8414769
To be fair, they're in their 50s and have been smoking for 30 years, of course they'd think the clot risk is higher.
>>
>>8414752
But then they'd tell me to transition instead of repressing. I'm at least as masc as their mod wannabkate if not worse. The world doesn't need yet another AGP amazon. Also they'd tell me AGP isn't real and I wouldn't be able to shitpost or make lewd comments to qt trannies.
>>
>>8414825
That might be true but I've seen them blame numerous health issues on hrt despite them being age related issues that affect both genders.
HRT is obviously more risky with old age which is why AAs aren't used past a certain age. Also past a certain age obviously AAs aren't necessary due to your bodies naturally low T levels as you age.
>>
>>8414233
>QHI.co.uk
It's back online and your best bet.

Otherwise google for non prescription pharmacy gets you a ton of 'canadian drug' thingys that comes from India, but customs here are extra cautious of Indian mail because a lot of drugs are made and comes from the.
>>
>>8414573
Not quite, it's actually Melvin Udall.
>>
>>8412604
Only in Ontario or British Columbia do I know of informed consent, most places in Canada don't. Especially Alberta, where I live. You basically get on a waitlist for 1-2 years for HRT where you're supposed to do a RLE the entire time, at least that's the official route.

I just found a sympathetic doctor who is willing to do informed consent, changed my fucking life.

Ontario here, once I actually left my neethole and went outside, it was amazingly simple to get unto the stream.
>Saw a random sex councillor
>second meeting includes them referring and actively introducing me to psychs and trans specific council
>seeing endo for first time on Wednesday
>informed by council that bottom and top surgeries are covered.

Feels fucking amazing y'all. With the time it took to move here.
>>
>>8415996
good to hear, best of lucks desu
>>
>>8414900
Worth noting that informed consent is not the model. In Ontario there are informed consent clinics but they are extremely sparse and their waiting lists are almost all closed or more than a year long. There's one in Niagara, one in Guelph and one in London iirc.

Otherwise, you go through your doctor. Legally and standards-wise Ontario has gotten a lot better recently. You should be able to go to any general practitioner and they will give you HRT after a short interview and briefing, but sub-diagnosis level. But, you'll find almost all doctors are not comfortable doing that so you have to seek out specialist doctors or try to reach endos through psychs or sex counsellors still.
>>
>>8414493
Which one are you seeing im in Calgary as well. Im getting my referral letter tomorrow.
