Cross over from /cgl/ here. I know its killer mentally, but the key to fixing this visually is adding/subtracting with fabric. You can add padding to your hips to make them appear fuller, or add scarves or belts to drape off your hips. It will distract the shape.

Same for ftm, besides binding, add shoulder pads or square shouldered garments (like leather jackets) on your most dysphoric days.
