This place is rapidly going down the drain. From from here on out, I expect each five-year period to be dramatically worse than the previous until an inevitable collapse. I've said it before in a previous thread. Take a women's self-defense class. They're short, cheap or free, and it's helpful no matter your physique. It will teach you the basics on your best options to get out of a difficult situation.

Also, look at what legal options you have available that you can carry like pepper spray. They're affordable and easy to learn. This should be done in tandem with a self-defense class.

Martial arts and firearms (if they're legal where you are) sound like good ideas but they are costly, major time commitments and should really only be pursued by the most dedicated.

High salaries and low taxes. You'll do better but have to save up for healthcare and such. It's expensive and you're expected to cover it yourself (esp. if you're a NEET) because the government isn't that generous. Neetbuxs is limited.

There are no huge logistics that we haven't alredy considered I don't think. We have extra rooms that we only use for storage and office space at the moment, so at least those can be converted into kids rooms. Assuming we keep living here. We also have the option of adding walls to some rooms that are large if need be, but I don't think we plan on having a huge family.

I loved Seattle when I visited but I always feel embarrassed when I think back to my trip! Yes. Queer-style "tolerance" is not true tolerance, but mostly virtue-signalling. They jockey for the honor of accepting people of different skin colors, religions, gender identities, etc. but demonize anyone who disagrees with or questions their philosophies, politics, or general rules of conduct. Republican and Christian gays face a lot of rejection from within the community. I'm kind of an anomaly in that I dislike modern feminism and don't believe in the legitimacy of genderqueer/non-binary identities (a neither male nor female human does not exist barring rare cases of true intersex) - opinions that would get me fucking keelhauled if I stated them in queer spaces despite my own willingness to coexist with feminists and non-binaries.

Gay men and women have gained a lot of ground in terms of societal acceptance, so now the community has devolved into focusing on nonsensical identity politicking. Queer is no longer about acceptance and tolerance, but establishment of oneself as an Other, and with that division has come disdain for the norm. Recently I joined a queer group on Normiebook and noticed a distinct hostility towards white cis gay guys. It's fucking gross.

Disdain for the norm has been a big part of the gay community for decades, it isn't new. It was probably around the 70's that gays decided, basically, "if straights are going to alienate us for things we can't change, we'll embrace it and reject their idea of homogeneity as flamboyantly as possible".

It's just that now that being gay isn't as persecuted and that "outsider" status is seen as cool by a lot of under-22's, you have straight people jumping into the "queer" community thinking they're just like gays because they like BDSM or non-stereotypical gender roles or something.

I don't own a scale and I didn't weigh myself before my diet. I decided to do it when I found myself sizing up too much. I was up to size 8 pants. Today, I'm wearing size 6 and it's comfortable. I want to get down to size 2-4. We're not talking a tremendous loss of weight but it takes a while.

And remember American sizes scale big, so if you're European or Asian, size 2-4 is probably their 6-8 or something like that. I should probably properly measure myself with a measuring tape.
