I feel like that's because a lot of them don't really try adjusting their tone and continue speaking in a higher register despite the fact that their voice is dropping. That's how you get those awkward chipmunky sounding ftms. I was somewhat androgynous sounding pre-T because I was already speaking at a lower register despite the female voice. Once you get used to talking like that, it becomes natural and makes the transition (no pun intended) easier as your vocal chords get thicker.

Uh… I think once you improve your voice you should change your job and present as a female there; you can be a tech support woman. Look up voice tutorials and try them. Because of your forehead shape, I would recommend trying to volumize your hair as much as possible. Make it fluffy and fuller. The more space it takes up, the less you'll draw attention to some of the features you might want to hide.

It might also do some good to grow the bangs out and move your part over. Pic related.
