You have to make up your mind.
If you are truly transgender, things WILL get worse if you dont transition, but you can live peacefully until you break down at your 30/40's and kill yourself.

Transitioning is scary at first and may feel pointless at some point but it does get better eventually.
You just have to really find out if you are actually trans or not.

Depending where you are, there are different ways to go about finding out if you really are trans, and different ways to go about transitioning if you are.

Just don't panic and don't avoid the issue. It's a time to keep a stiff upper lip.

So after a time here, i've decided to stay as a male. I still think about that 80% of my day, and maybe i end up ordering hormones tomorrow, but who knows. You have to think about 3 situations:

>Passing as a girl
What if you end up passing as a girl? Do you REALLY want to be treated as a girl? (Both for people treating you nice because you're a girl, and people treating you bad because you're just a girl [misandry]). Can you cope with the tits HRT will give you? The looks people will give you?

>Would you pass?
Can you pass as a girl? Isn't your body too manly? What about your face? You know that you'll have lots of work, right? Makeup, shaving, maybe minor surgeries later. Also, hrt can give you erectile dysfunction and make you infertile. Do you want kids? You want your dick working?

>Side effects
Can you cope with the side effects? In every thread people told me about that. Long term Hepatotoxicity, erectile disfunction, mood swings, boobs, depression, etc. Also, HRT can be expensive depending on where you live.

Ask yourself these questions. You will know what's better for you.

Just make sure you're not obsessed with the submissive position of girls. They don't even feel pleasure most of the times. Good luck.

OP, i've forgot to add that. Don't. Avoid. The. Issue.

The first advice i had here was to "wait and stop thinking about that for a while". This is the worse thing i ever did and not even a year of drugs and alcohol helped me. Regardless of what i did in the end, avoiding this all just made it worse.

I can assure you not. This place is mostly a depression pit for transitioners who are still in the early stages (1-3 years). You don't really see people who been at this for more than that because they can actually move on. Things DO get better when you jump in and transition. You just have to keep at it and not give up.

I started running with the C25K program (http://www.coolrunning.com). It's excellent. Follow it closely and you'll be OK. Don't skimp on your shoes.
