I put up with a lot worse shit from my last ex, stuff that I will never put up again now that I have a bit more self-respect, it was a really godawful 2 years.. but it wasn't until I showed him a John Waters movie and he said he didn't "want to watch that fucking garbage" that the switch finally flipped in my head. It was like the delusional spell broke and I suddenly felt NOTHING for him anymore... nothing but contempt anyway.
