If gender is a spectrum and everyone naturally falls somewhere on the spectrum why transition? Begin feminine is just part of the spectrum for men, so no one needs to transition. Also why do white women identify as non-binary if gender is not a binary to begin with and everyone falls somewhere on the binary?

Fundamentally, "transition" is really just modifying various aspects of your gender-existence, including how you present yourself, how you refer to yourself and request others to refer to you, what clothes you wear, what social norms you follow, your anatomy and hormone levels. One does not REALLY "cease being a man and become a woman" or vice versa, that is just the way many movements ALONG the gender spectrum must be interpreted by the binary model of gender which much of society still subscribes to. Some degree of transition as in movement along the spectrum of gender-existence is necessary even without the binary model, since people are not always content to be in the position where nature places them. But without having to function within the binary model, gender transition would be a gradual, not a drastic process, similar to losing weight or making new friends.
