A large portion of trans people are shy, nerdy and socially awkward. Also, gender dysforia leads to depression/anxiety and it's almost impossible to hide your transition from others, which kinda fucks you up in the head.

There is also reddit, but most of its LGBT communities are SJW-leaning and heavily moderated.
