like i said genderqueer is super vague, unfortunately. it's used by everyone from butch lesbians to girls with short hair to creepy pseudo-feminist guys who want to seem hip and edgy. also it's just generally always been tied more so to people who are faab, just because they're the ones who tend to use it and teach about "queerness" and "queer theory" in universities. it's often said that everyone is ultimately queer (or at least I've heard stuff like that a lot), so.... it's just super vague, as opposed to being accurate which i feel like ladyboy is. it specifically refers to feminized males (and feminine, gender bending males), regardless of whether they present as male, female, or somewhere in between.

That's y passing is important because the only way to remotely achieve this is to pass. Ever other label is used for peopl who cannot pass so they make up some other term to try and fit in but it always fails because they act like children cringing the fuck out in-front of normies an all that does is give a worse and worse name for trans people that can pass.
