Theory: there are three types of lesbians.
1) Repressed HSTS. These are HSTS trans men who cannot pass and as a result have decided not to transition.
2) Andromimetophiles. These are quasi-straight women who are attracted to masculinity in natal females. Since the lesbian community has traditionally had lots of repressed HSTSs, this led them to identify as lesbian. They have a tendency to be AAP and might end up transitioning.
3) MetaCis Lesbians. These are autogynephiles who would be the first group if not for the fact that being women is attractive to them.

As long as they exist on /lgbt/ they're perpetually look down on us as some sort of foreign curiosity because, in reality, the genuine femininity in HSTS and cis women is a legitimate unknowable concept to them.
