How do you find the courage and motivation to see a therapist? I don't even know if I really am trans yet, but I would like to see a therapist for a host of other issues. I'm depressed, highly anxious, have no confidence in myself, have very little motivation, losing sleep, my performance at school is declining, and every night I feel empty inside. Whenever I'm in a position to seek help I just think that it's not that bad (when really my mind has just been taken off of it). I know I need help but I can't (or rather won't) reach out to family and friends.

tldr:How do I break the habit of hesitating to see a therapist and finally turn my life around before I have a breakdown?

What I considered a beautiful healthy weight was more than a bit above what the fashion industry wanted back then. My gf was in the weight range I liked, and mostly did glamour modeling.
