It's against the nature of parents to encourage the physical harm that is 'transitioning'. Parents who allow and encourage their under 18 kids mutilate themselves with harsh hormone injections should be charged with child abuse! If your parents care about you they won't blindly embrace this self-destructive behavior. It's like pretending that female's aren't harmed by an abortion. You can ignore the reality all you want but the physical science is clear as to the damage both of these selfish behaviors have on the human body. A good parent will not make you feel comfy 24/7/365. Loving parents challenge you to go out in the world and be a productive human being and not sit on your ass endlessly complaining that you we not accepted when you are accepted but perhaps your penchant for self-destructive behavior is stopped or at least slowed down by concerned parents.

The difference is that if a person is going to transition they are going to do it anyway. Blocking them or being needlessly shit about it doesn't help anyone.
