Not saying i'm better i just recognize that i live in a society that presents these rules and challenges that I try to my best abilities to overcome in pursuit of my own personal happiness or some might call it value. Well i mean they always say Europe is so much better than america or even canada so try there if that's your thing. The thing about america is it prides itself in freedom. Meaning anyone can do what they want in pursuit of their own happiness excluding the harm of others and that is where we make the basis of law in this country. The problem right now is there are so many people dissatisfied that they just complain and not actually realize they have the power in their own hands already to become happy.

This is why we have states known for being more republican or democratic. I'm getting into more politics and philosophy here but if we criticize america on what i think is it's current and true crisis is that people in general are plebs and have mob mentality and only stick to the standard conventions of either being a democrat for more romantic thinkers while republicans are more classical thinkers and they all tend to huddle in their own peer groups. The solution? Break out of those conventions of categorizing shit and become more aware of the underlying problems through introspection of not just you but what you see and how you interpret the world.

This is why i personally have come to the conclusion that yes people will categorize themselves so the only thing you can really do is find a place that is most comfortable for you in pursuit of your own self improvement. California in my opinion is a good example of where I enjoy living. I would never move to a regressive as fuck southern state or a regressive as fuck state like North Carolina for example.

Another way to think about it is finding worth in the simple things in life and to not think about what others have to say or do just focus on yourself and what world you personally want to create in your little head. Unfortunately some people come to abuse this thinking (mental illness) so they incorrectly interpret their own thoughts and live pretty nasty lives that affect other people and they don't even realize it.

thanks fellow anon. The way i came to terms with being born a tranny was through alot of self thought and reading philosophy. Idk if my mind is finally maturing or what but reading books is definitely a huge eye opener to increase your perspective and at first its scary as fuck but you learn to embrace those feelings in the pursuit of bettering yourself.
If you hate reading books trust me i relate i hated reading in school, but now you don't do it for a petty grade to get through highschool or even college you do it for self improvement. Audio books is a great way to start I listen to alot of books while i fall asleep now and holy shit this is the best form of therapy and for the most part is fucking free compared to therapy sessions. Seriously philosophy is a huge eye opening on the human condition.

I think California is a good balance between the two. The northern part is super left wing and appreciate nature and hippy culture mixed with a lot of metropolitan areas as you reach San Francisco then more spread out like San Jose which then leads to more beach towns like Santa Cruz. After that you have large open spaces of farm country and beach/college towns

As you travel south it starts to become more right wing suburbs to Los Angeles, more pockets of suburbia but for whatever reason the infrastructure is shit so a lot of poor people who can still afford apartments live there. And if you go even further you'll reach Irvine which is my favorite place since it has a lot of wide open space yet is still distinct and suburban with a lot of Asian communities and shops also its known as one of the safest towns in California. Further is where you'll see a lot of wealthy suburbs with a lot of right wing nuclear families.

And even further leads to San Diego which is i think more left than right iv'e never been down there too much to make any distinctions and finally mexico which iv'e never been.

I think California has a place for everyone but it still suffers the same problem that we separate ourselves based off our political beliefs. But the reason why i like it is because we have a good mix of ideas and lifestyles all in one state. San Francisco is an extremely distinct city compared to Los Angeles and I believe they are beacons that represents two sides of the same coin of thinking yet will never face each other to actually talk about the bigger picture. In a sense California represents the issues that the entire country faces however it's just more distinct since most other states to me seem to be dominated by either or. I can assume this pattern exists across the entire west coast.

I think the reason it formed like this is because of our culture and history although I am not history buff so I can't go into detail.
