Cognitive functions is kinda okay

MBTI would say that an ENTP is extroverted, intuitive, thinking and perceiving

Cognitive functions would say that an ENTP leads with extroverted intuition, then has introverted thinking, then extroverted feeling and then introverted sensing.

Both are the same thing basically, but cognitive functions are a more original reading of the source material from where both was devised and focuses more on the psychology of an individual, MBTI focuses more on their outward behavior, both are inaccurate and bad science, but MBTI is absolute crap made up by two uneducated housewives for a laff where cognitive functions show some consistency with actual tangible physical evidence, cognitive functions bring you much closer to an actual understanding of each type.

btw, most people who know about cognitive functions still refer to it as MBTI because of how similar they are
