Flat ironing helps a lot (use protectant) and so does a light mousse.
When I get it trimmed at the salon the round brushing with mousse makes it so straight and soft, it's like someones else's hair - it's amazing.

You should check out a great thread on HairLossTalk forums where a transgender woman has documented her amazing hair regrowth dedication and regiment. how do i deal with being trans?
i have been talking pills for almost a year. I havent openly tell my dad (he's very homophobic) nor my friends (they would be ok but it would be awkward as fuck)
My mother knows but doesnt support me at all, every day she talks to me about how i will never be a woman and how almost every problem in the world is because of me.
I spend most of the time in my gf's house where I can dress as a girl without any problem, but now for some reason my mom is making it a problem, telling me its fucked up and i shouldnt do it because its not my house and it bother everyone in my gf's house.
Im in college's last year and i dont know what i will do with my life once i finish, i dont want to get a job at all, im too scared of being discriminated or to not be able to live as a woman.
Also my self esteem is all fucked up, and im always extremly depressed.

So I don't really see any good reason to keep transitioning or to even do it from a start.
