My back's fucked up, so I'll occasionally use a cane from how bad it gets at times. You'll get a lot of questions, but yeah, that's never been an issue in terms of likeability.
Mind you, I'm a beefy giant, but a twink's more accepted in terms of vulnerability anyway.
