Nail polish thread. What colours do you guys and girls paint.

I paint my toes all sorts of colors, and rock flip flops if it's over 45 degrees.

I'm a nail polish junkie. I've tried nail art but i am awful.... just like real art. I Usually go with dark colors, though i do have awesome pinks and glitter.

Not a femboy at all. I'm 6'3" 200 pound redneck.

I just love painting my toes, i don't paint my hands usually because i fuck them up quick, they don't feel like my hands when they are , and it would adversely effect my job if i did paint them.

I mostly paint my nails black or gray, but I'm testing out white. For my Chloe Price cosplay, I'm painting them light blue, just like in Life is Strange.

My little sis gave me a bunch of her nail polish my favorite is this iridescent top coat that makes just about any color go from okay to super awesome, I like mixing it with pastel blue and pink best

Learn to paint better!

You don't need to paint to the absolute edge of your nail.

I'm ftm and don't do it anymore, but when I was girlmode I painted my nails a lot. That and piercings were the only things that made me feel feminine but not dysphoric.

Current nail color with the next thing I want to try. I'm going to color a couple of nails neon green with this pink. You may notice some chipping; I took this right after work and my job is a bit rough on my polish.

I realy want to start painting my nails, but everyone seems to like them already. At my last blood test the lady said it looked like i had a french manicure :D

Any tips? I would realy like to increase my nail game, cause all i do right now is file them and occasionally use hand an nail cream

I do use a glass file though, they are so amazing omg, the smell of filed nail is intoxicating

Yeah, I think you're right about the estrogen. I noticed my nails looked better after starting HRT too. Still not as nice as yours though.

You use a glass file? I didn't know they made those. I'm going to look that up. Is that the cream you use?

Yeah, the glass files are realy good, the one i use is a Bliss Kiss crystal glass file. They are well worth the investment compared to disposable files

And yeah thats the Caudalie hand and nail cream i use about 2 times a week. it smells soooo good too, like fresh oranges

My nails are one of the best things about my body. Since I started really taking care of them and painting them more often I get frequent compliments and a lot of cis girls are envious of my nails. Right now I'm wearing my favorite red. My favorite recent acquisition is, comparing it to named colors, I'd approximate it to be somewhere around cerise, hollywood cerise perhaps, not sure since I'm going by memory comparing it to named colors when it might not even quite match any. My usual everyday polish is either nude or seashell or a nude base coat with a seashell top coat. I'd like to wear black but I don't think it really works on me, just kinda looks wrong. For my nail health I don't really do much at the moment, just keep them somewhat trimmed, filed, and occasional oil, usually olive or avocado since those are what I usually have.

Dang you must have some healthy nails, mine chip really easily it's sad
And my tip for painting is file your nails before applying the polish it lets it stick better and the paint doesn't chip away so easily

In a drug store Nail polish can be anywhere from $1 to $10, get a color and top coat.

Nail polish remover is $5

Cotton balls to remove the the polish $3

Put on the top coat as a base, paint 2 layers of color, put on the top coat.
