I am sorry for not posting it there but I have in the past and gotten little help, this is the most help I have gotten so far. But I have only heard bad things about therapists on this type of issue.

Personally, anon, I used to be someone who would've typed up a thread like yours and been called "AGP" or "fetishist" by half this board. I'd feel a deep desire to be a girl whenever I was aroused and after fapping it would mostly fade away and all I'd feel was shame. I was attracted to penises but disgusted by the idea of masculinity.

When I was 15 I heard about AGP theory and assumed that was the cause of these issues I was having. I decided against transitioning because of it and just continued living how I did before. But the older I got the more the shame started creeping into day to to day life. I'd walk past a girl in high school, immediately think "I want to be her", and then feel great shame and guilt. I'd be depressed for the rest of the day if not weeks. By the time I got to 18, simply seeing a girl was enough to send me into a spiraling state of depression for months.

Eventually I just said fuck it. I came out to my mom as trans 2 months later, saw a pyschiatrist and an endocrinologist, and started hormone treatments a month before my 19th birthday.

One year later and I'm happier than I've ever been. I realized now that I absolutely hated my formerly masculine body or being treated as a man in society, it was just hard to see how horrible it is when it's the only way to live that you knew. I'm attracted to guys now, too, and I have a boyfriend. Manly chests, muscles, body hair, deep voices, male odour, etc. I fucking love dudes. I barely have any attraction to women at all now, and couldn't imagine myself doing something sexual with one. I realize now that "AGP" and "HSTS" aren't real things. AGP is just a coping mechanism some repressed trans people use to deal with their feelings. And the more and more I researched about trans people, the more I realized just how GNC i was as a young kid and how obvious it should've been.

You need to see a gender therapist, full stop. Only you know if you're a girl or a guy, but a therapist can help you sort through those feelings. I wish I had gone, it took me nine years to figure out.

And note, I'm not trying to say you should definitely take hormones and transition. I'm just saying that you shouldn't automatically discount the possibility of you being trans because of it. Do some more thinking, research this stuff. Only you can decide for sure, but don't be so quick to decide against it. Normal cis men don't even think about being girls, after all.

Maybe even try hormones for a month or so. See how they make you feel, nothing permanent will happen after only a month.
