Hey so i'm a mtf about 8 months on hrt, i just completed my science degree majoring in biology. I was studying biology because i wanted to find a way to magically turn myself into a girl, but now i am on hrt i have given up on that goal and accept that i am just a tranny. I have now lost interest in studying biology, and I'm thinking i would like to work in IT. I can do a postgraduate diploma of cyber security and complete it in one year, is this a good idea?

I know i would just be living a meme if i did this, but i can't help but be drawn to the beauty of computers.

Will being a tranny somehow give me an advantage working in IT? Will it help me learn to code faster? i already have striped socks, but they are not rainbow ones, this isn't a problem right?

I'm a bi guy, but this has nothing to do with sexuality or belief, your futures at stake here.

Go for it, being a meme isn't all that bad.
>>
>>8115946
Well there are a lot of transgender black hats, so you'd fit right in there.
>>
Is it possible that we all may be threatened at some point for consuming non-heterosexual pornography, and blackmailed?

Non-bait, I'm legitimately scared of that it might have an effect on eg. my future family.
>>
>>8115946
You got it backwards. Working in IT will somehow give you an advantage in being trans, since you will get almost free money, with minimal social interction, and a stable job to fund your transition even if you aim for top tier SRS/FFS.

Also good cyber security engineers are in short supply. Those who know how to hack are black hats.

Not into biotech but since you are: just how difficult could it be to change one single chromosome? honest question

I am in IT tho and all I can say is this job is overhyped to hell, there aren't that many positions as they want you to believe and the pay isn't that great outside of places like frisco where the cost of living will eat most of your paycheck anyway
>>
>>8116270
That's exactly why i want to work, i want to afford srs with suporn, and maybe some work done with facial team

>>8116284
Changing a chromosome would be pointless after testosterone has already done its damage to my skeleton

Also i live in Australia, so cost of living is high, but wages tend to be even higher
>>
>>8115946
>Will being a tranny somehow give me an advantage working in IT?
It would be easier for you to find a boyfriend there.
>>
>>8116445
> find a boyfriend
OMG, yes please
>>
>>8115946
>try programming
>get unbelievably frustrated trying to debug my code
>decide I hate coding and give up
>take a degree in physics instead
>go on HRT
>decide to take a simulations software module
>coding no longer makes me want to destroy my computer
>>
As someone who studied it I hate every minute of it and wish I had studied something else. But to be fair anything outside of STEM as a degree is pointless and anything in STEM will make you want to die from boredom. There is no winning option just pick what you like and hope something works out. Cyber security and IT fucking blows but if you like it more power to you.

"anything in STEM will make you want to die from boredom"

>t. brainlet

nah seriously tho, what would you have liked to have studied?
>>
>>8116445

How, when probably 90% of the women there are trannies? I would also think a good amount of the men in it are trannies too.
>>
HRT is roids for programming

Explain yourself!

>I can do a postgraduate diploma of cyber security and complete it in one year, is this a good idea?
Well yeah.

Even if you're living a meme, it's better than not living at all, isn't it?

Also having more lgbt moles is a good thing.

IT is a male-dominated field, thus it's gonna have a lot of guys who share the same interests as OP.
Also, in my experience, people in IT tend to be rather progressive, so there is a good chance OP is gonna find a nice accepting single guy.
>>
>biology
>tranny
Nearly fell for the bait
>>
>>8119723

>tranny grows up in unaccepting home environment and culture
>as a young child, girls either reject her friendship from the start, the girls kick her out at some point after becoming friends, or she's punished by adults for playing with girls
>tranny then becomes reclusive and spends time on solo activities, in the past this might be autistically practicing an instrument for hours on end. Contemporaneously, this is often on a computer
>this is how the young tranny spends her childhood and adolescence, instead of having friends and living a normal life
>when college applications need to be turned in, she wants to go in to a computer-related field because that's what she knows and is probably good at
>tranny graduates with degree and gets job

Of course, with the amount of time spent online (with the occasional binge of transition timelines and HRT info), you have to be in serious repression to not transition if this has been your path in life so far. So -maybe- IT is actually one of the safest fields to pick up a boyfriend that won't go tranny on you instead of one of the most high-risk. I personally think you would have a lower risk of finding a tranny among business/finance majors, but that sector of the economy is apparently pretty conservative so a guy could risk his career by marrying a tranny. But I also suspect guys that are good in that field are more likely to cheat.

>>8121832

I'm not saying it's not male-dominated, I'm saying that of the women that are there, the majority will be trans.

If your skeleton has already been disfigured, then maybe you're better off just staying a femboy on hrt
>>
>>8122026
>you have to be in serious repression to not transition if this has been your path in life so far.
welp
>>
>>8122068
Na i want to be a girl, my skeleton causes me dysphoria but its probably just obsessive tranny bdd, i don't think my skeleton is bad enough to stop me passing eventually, worst case scenario i might need some ffs to be completly happy
>>
>>8122165

And what's that mean?
>>
>>8122891
sigh
>>
>>8125299

Just start transition.
