My parents still slip up and I've been out to them for like two years

Mine, as well as both my siblings. They don't mind that I've transitioned but they flat out refuse to refer to me as a man. My parents were extremely abusive about it when I came out to them at 15, they actually tried sending me to a therapist to talk me out of my gender dysphoria and so I didn't get the chance to transition until after college.

I don't really spend time with my family since after my parents divorced so it's no big deal. I feel really bad for all the trans kids dealing with rejection from their parents rn because it is suffering.

From what I have gathered whenever my Ma is around me she'll call me by my proper name and pronouns however as soon as I'm gone she wont. She pretends to have "respect" for me but she just usually wants money or something from me.

story time. my mom super supports me but my stepdad didn't (does now slightly more now that the changes are undeniable and my voice is flawless) i was biking from work coming home and a car didnt head for pedestrias and gunned it and launched me and my bike across the 4 way, luckily my bike toook most the impact and was bent 90 degrees. cop sees this and tells me i should sue her (dont becuase i was just fed up with alot at that point and it seemed like a bother, though i wish i did now for the sweet money) anyway cop waits for me in case i have a cuncussion and my stepdad arrives to take me home but first chats with cop about incident.whole time step dads calling me he and im obvoiusly expressing female decently at that point and the cop who had seen my license easily figured out i was trans but kept correcting my step dad with SHE and HER almost to belittle him for misgendering me. began to wish that officer was my new stepdad instead. daydreamed about getting him divorced from my mother and getting badass officer mc-not-a-bad-human-being to get with my mom durring ride home.

I'm >>8094595 again. These stories do make me wonder about whether my parents would refer to me correctly. My father doesn't seem to know the difference between a dyke and an FtM. I don't think he wants to know either. My mother says she's never known an MtF who passed, which I hope to test with a series of pictures containing an equal amount of cis and trans women.

My pronouns are mine to use, or misuse, as I wish.
For YEARS, I have 'mis-gendered' people as a joke, or jab.
