The therapist asks you to draw a house and doesn't seem to care too much but clearly believes in a more conservative view of Transsexuality. On the other hand every other surgeon takes the therapists you get your letters from's word for it. It's probably much easier to find two BS therapists than trick one particular one.

Has anyone had srs with Dr. Bowers, or knows someone who has? I'm asking because I could get surgery with Dr. Bowers and have it covered by my insurance and only have to pay a small copay.

I noticed that of all the big srs surgeons she seems to be shit on the most here. Why is that? What is it about Suporn that makes him so good and what is it about Bowers that makes her so bad?

Now I'm a lesbian trans woman, I'm not interested in men nor am I interested in penetration, so depth is not so much an issue for me. Also, aesthetics are not so much of an issue for me either. I'd rather have a functional and sensitive vagina than a pretty looking one.

So basically my priorities are function and sensitivity and my less-priorities are appearance and depth. So what should I do? Should I go for Bowers and be able to get the surgery soon or do I wait and save up for the Suporn method?

Also for reference i have a large penis (7.5 long and 6 around) with no foreskin. I have been on hormones for a year and have the sources for the two letters.

You don't care about that but look at stories about her on susans. She probably has the most horror stories I've ever seen. Stories about shitting out your vagina 2 weeks after surgery and being unable to contact her. Leaving patients at the wayside after surgery seems pretty common with her.

If you literally don't care about anything but having a hole go for it. I'm sure the really bad stories are still the minority so at least you might get what you want.

Anyways buccal cells were tried by more than on surgeon. Turns out we don't have the time/tech to make them reliably thick enough to be useable for srs.

Either way it wouldn't come close to solving any of the issues you're wondering about. All it does is increase wetness and removes the already small chance of having internal hair growth. Both of which the current technique are really not that bad at solving.

Replacing skin grafts of all types is the only future of srs technology on the horizon and it's still a decade or more away before its mainstream.

Don't look for edge cases preformed on vaginaless cis women, look at the over all trends in medicine.
