Okay maybe this is stupid but
I think on top of some people claiming trans to seem special/fit in or confuse being a boyish girl with being a ftm I think when people continue to act like their birth sex stop identifying as it along with no longer using the associated pronouns it seems it might be internalised sexism.
Like they will act like and look like a girl (or guy) but they dont want to be assosiated with the negative stereotypes they identify them with.
