Long story short, this guy is my boyfriend of three months now. I don't think I've ever felt like this for any other person, I'm extra careful when crossing the street, even though in 21 years nothing has happened to me, just because I know the pain and concern that something happening to me would cause him, and I don't want to even risk that.
I consider myself gay, and refer to myself as such. When I look at women, I don't feel any kind of the attraction that I used to feel, see the images I posted. These used to be some of my favorites, now when I look at them, I still like the aesthetics, I can see what about them I considered erotic, but I don't feel any of the eroticism that I used to feel. The same applies to women in general.
My boyfriend pretty starkly disagrees with this whole story of mine, humorously insisting that I must've always been gay, since my story doesn't fit anywhere into his experiences or view of things that he grew up with as a gay person. That's the part I find the most interesting. While I consider myself gay, I don't feel like my sexual orientation is an important part of my identity, if even a relevant one. It feels more like a simple matter that just defines who I am attracted to, but I don't have any great personal history or attachment to it, like someone who came to realize that they're gay once they hit puberty (or so I'd assume), for me it's something that came after I had shaped my identity.

That's all. Sexual orientation is a very interesting matter, and I felt like this could interest some of you.
