Actually they used the correct form of "faze". You used the incorrect form. Both "phase" and "faze" are correct spellings of different words with different meanings.

"It doesn't faze you..." is correct. "...that even phases any of us?" is incorrect.

A proper use of "phase" would be something like, "The moon is very pretty in this phase." It can also be used as a verb though with something like, "She phased right through the wall."
