Do any of you remember your first unrequited love? How was it

Yeah. I was 5 yrs old.
It was confusing. I kept tackling him and hugging him and he thought I was annoying and didn't want to play with me.
I got over it when my mom stopped hanging out with his mom and we never saw each other again.

Ive never talked to my previous crushes before so it's hard to say. I really like a girl in middle school and she liked me back but never did anything there. That was like 13 years ago. It never really does go away I find

I started loving my best friend of 5 years when I was in high school. I was super emotionally invested in him until he got a girlfriend and stopped paying attention to me. It took me a couple of months maybe to stop caring about him but I still think about it now occasionally 6 years later, mostly in the cringey "why did I let that happen" sort of way. I've still got trust issues because of it so idk if I'll ever be over it entirely
