Probably depends on the Asian culture we're talking about. East Asian here. We're generally extremely transphobic and homophobic. Thailand is much more open, though.

How so? Most Asians, including me, started puberty around the same time as our American peers. Maybe it was just the food/nutrition in America, though.

I'll admit that this is somewhat true, although not to the extent that people believe. Height differences are much more apparent (lower standard deviation, i.e., steeper bell curves). And while Asians tend to be more neotenous in general, Asian women basically look like they're 12. Even a tiny bit of T can make the difference between passing and not passing for Asian trannies.

So while it's easier for Asians to pass to whites, there are definitely enough tells to make passing to other Asians difficult.

I would think its mainly the cultural differences in diet. Idk maybe its just me but my puberty didnt start to affect me much until 14 or so and it was still very subtle. If i didnt realize i was trans by 22 id probably not pass since i could tell right before i started hrt at 18 my body was starting to amp up my natural puberty if i didn't do anything about it. thats not to say my natural puberty didnt already have effects but it would probably have been more drastic. and i always read on here that alot of anons grow full on beards at age 16 or even 14 and shit which to me is hard to believe especially since my puberty was so weak in comparison.
