Could it be possible that I have herpes?

I hooked up with someone (I'm gay) and he gave me oral. He had no cold sores on his mouth. I also topped him with a condom. Again, he did not have any symptoms of gentian herpes.

However, I have been experiencing some itching on the left side of my penis and a little on the lower part of my left scrotum.

I don't know if it's related to herpes or the area could be irritated since I haves all my pubes and the little hairs are itchy, or if it's a bacterial infection.

There are no bumps or redness, just itching in those two spots.

Help!
