I grew up with two parents, but I really hated my dad ever since I could remember from when I was around elementary school age. He was such an abusive asshole with a bad temper and anger management problems. I still hate him today (in fact I refuse to forgive him for his wrongdoings!) and he hasn't changed his old habits. Sometimes I wonder if that's the reason why I'm MtF transgender, due to the lack of a positive male role model as a kid. I didn't have any brothers by the way, if you guys were wondering. My mother on the other hand, was pretty neglectful or emotionally indifferent towards me. It's like she gave up her husband was being a deadbeat loser or a bitch to his entire family, his own wife and kids. I'd be surprised why she didn't simply divorce or leave his incompetent ass, but my mother is quite conservative and believes in a lot of old-fashioned ideas.
