Pitch is less important than formant.

5. Articulation (sibilance and consonant sounds)

this is basically what it comes down to. Pitch is important but less important than you'd think. Dynamics&amplitude is subtle. Vocal posture is essentially the structure your mouth and body is making which impacts resonance which creates formant. Vocal placement is where you are "seating" the sound.
