Should highschoolers stay in the closet?
No, I think high-schoolers should be indoctrinated into the homosexual and transgender lifestyle by their teachers and peers so they will eventually grow up to become lifetime Democratic voters. Also at least half of the male student population should be encouraged, or coerced if necessary, into taking estrogen and transitioning into the opposite gender. Any rebellious kid who refuses to follow along with the program shall be sent to remedial or re-education classes into becoming more docile and effeminate. That way, the next generation of humanity will pave the way for full LGBT equality across the spectrum in the world.

Try living in Texas

At least you have Austin. The most liberal city within 300 miles of me right now is either Chicago or Detroit, and I honestly have no idea which is worse.
>>7940784
That sucks, stay strong bro
>>7940758
That's the dumbest fucking cop-out I've ever heard, unless you live in some nigger area.
>>7940826
Why? When I was in high school I saw gay kids get the shit kicked out of them for it.
Are you going to be same sex dating another student/on school grounds?
Will you have to frequently turn down advances of heterosexuals?
If the answer to both of those is No then I honestly see no advantage to saying anything. Be proud and comfortable, sure, but at the end of the day it's no one else's business. It won't be impacting your school activities and can only result in different/cruel treatment.
School is tough but eventually the perspective is gained that letting everyone know things about you really does not matter in the slightest. You're not lying or omitting anything, it just shouldn't have to come up.

I live in south Texas, so I'd say yes not to let others know your gay, depending on how you think your parents/classmates would react.
Don't come out until you can support yourself.
>>7940714
No. I wish I had came out during hisschool so I could have gotten the chance to date a guy and take home to prom. Now, I'm out of high school and never went to prom. The sooner you come out the better.
>>7941432
>Don't come out until you can support yourself.

>>7943306
>Failing a grade
>Calling someone else retarded
My parents have told me they wouldn't care if I was trans.
Still too much of a pussy to come out...
>>7943413
But they said they wouldnt care, what are you afraid of?
>>7943413
Gay is one thing but why would they even say that?
>>7943518
I wish I could answer that question...
>>7943538
Probably because my(mom at least) thinks I'm trans in the back of her mind.
>>7943553
Why would she think that? I assume you're into guys.
>>7943572
I'm a girly person? Idk...
>>7940714
Everyone should stay in the closet.
It's safer that way and the only ones telling you to "come out and be yourself" are virtue signalling breeders who face no hardships in life.
>>7943654
I dont know about that
>>7943688
>I dont know about that
Well I do.
Which is why I am here to bestow upon you the wisdom to stay in that comfy closet and give a middle finger to all the haters.
>>7943654
Do you also complain about the rampant degeneracy in today's society?
>>7943810
Mind your own business only works if they ask. Otherwise, your choice is coming out directly, deliberately keeping it hidden, or coming out just whenever it's obvious.
>>7940757
what does it mean if this gave me a boner
>>7945247
it means you're a little fucked up
>>7945247
Pretty typical AGP fantasy.
>>7940714
I don't think there's an absolute answer to that.
It depends on how the person is dealing with being in the closet, as well as some external conditions:
-How accepting is the society in the area?
-Will the said person have any support?
-If people in the area aren't accepting of LGBT people, but the person would have some support from friends, does coming out of the closet + support of friends outweigh the condemnation of the unsupportive people?
etc.
Another question that people who are considering coming out of the closet should ask themselves is "Why am I coming out in the first place?". If it's for attention, notoriety or anything "shallow" as that, obviously one shouldn't do it.
Just to clarify, those are nothing more than my personal opinions.
Didn't want to turn the post into a blogpost, but I've seen the harmful effects of a closet on a classmate of mine.

Around where I am, if you are 18 before your senior year and have been held back you are expelled. This happened to two people I knew in high school.
