You need to ask yourself. If you could forever go from being a boy to a girl that looks suspiciously boyish would you? Most people don't even question this. Those that do often decide they're fine as they are. Try picking a female name and nothing else and see if the pronouns fit. Tell maybe one friend to call you by it and if it fits it might be a sign.

Mostly look at your past. Any red flags? All of us weren't surprised we were trans even if we were terrified "that's what it it was".

Did you act like a girl as a kid? Most of us did in some ways, dumb ways we never forgot about.

I kept trying to do cardio, but running on the treadmill was too boring, and running outside was too embarrassing. Eating is the biggest problem I think, though. Would it be possible to look decent even while I'm still fat? The thought of waiting like a year to start trying to look cute and is really discouraging, but I don't want to look gross and cringy either.

I mean, I don't really think there were any real red flags. I was really attached to my mom and would panic and cry whenever I was away from her. I hated school and tried to get out of it anyway I can, I would cry nearly every day I was there until middle school, and even then sometimes it would still happen. I did feel very out of place, and while I did make a group of friends, I didn't feel all too connected to them. I was very sensitive, and acted sort of feminine I guess you could say. In public I was very shy but tried to always be very polite when spoken to. I don't really know if that's a sign I was supposed to be a girl though, that might have just been a defense mechanism. I stayed in my room all day and watched anime and played video games, and around the time I was [spoiler]13[/spoiler] I saw that traps were starting to get popular and I really wanted to look cute like an anime girl. I'd still be shy and embarrassed and ashamed if my family saw me like that though. I'm 19 now and I still feel that way, but I never got started because I kept feeling like I had to lose weight first, which I was always too weak and cowardly to do.

2 years fin, 19 months hrt. It's much better and I have thousands of 1 inch or so hairs that are fine and unpigmented but even if they thicken again, it's going to take years to be long enough to make any use of them.
