Also I don't have the citation on hand, but there's been studies about parenting and lesbians are statistically better than both heterosexual and gay male parents, while gay male parents are better than heterosexual parents. The reasons for this are primarily that homosexual couples (both male/female) often have to be more well off than heterosexual couples in order to consider having a child, among other reasons.
