MtFs, did any of you grow up without sisters or close female friends you were out to? How did you learn to do all the girly stuff?
>>
>>7858621
I learned to be the perfect trap waifu from anime
>>
Single child

Parents used to keep me locked in my bedroom or the bathroom or locked outside the house

Never interacted with human beings at all

No idea how to act feminine and do girly stuff
>>
My mom taught me from a young age. She was young when she had me and she would doll me up and occasionally show me off because she thought it was cute. I liked it and would start doing it myself. She would dress me up in cute boy clothes too, but I wanted to look like her.
>>
>>7858621
I learned it all from the internet/my girlfriend at 24. Shit sucks and there is kind of a big gap but w.e.

We learn it the same way you learn anything else no one went out of their way to show you.
>>
>>7858621
A have a sister but way younger than me. I'm currently learning girly stuff by myself, but it's not like it's any difficult or I'm required to do all the things at once.
>>
>>7858621

Don't have sisters, friends, or even my female cousins who live far away and are all younger. I just use the internet, whether that's a blog, YouTube, reddit, or something else that I've forgotten.

Growing up my mom was basically my only close friend. She had me really young so the age gap was never too harsh, occasionally older people thought we were siblings. She was my only real example of femininity so now I act really motherly and dress like 15 years older than I am.

I didn't really pick up most "girly" stuff until I transitioned though, since my family was pretty hostile to me being overly feminine.
>>
>>7858621
>How did you learn to do all the girly stuff?
I didn't spend all that time locked in my room for nothing.
>>
>>7858621
I grew up with a sister and brother (im the youngest).
My sister hated my guts for reasons unknown (probably middle child syndrome).
I didnt know what being trans was then so I guess it never occurred to me to ask about that.
Although looking back I probably asked my mom something at some point because my entire life, she went out of her way to get me boy stuff and "boy colored stuff"even if the thing in question was colored ambiguously she would find a boy color.
>How did you learn to do all the girly stuff?
Im still relying on internet tutorials and stuff I pick up from observations. All the girls I was friends with where either tomboys or androgynous nerd blobs like myself.
>>
>>7858621
By being trutrans so it just comes naturally.
>>
>>7861681
Being trutrans won't teach you how to do makeup and which colors best suit you, anon.
>>
>>7861681
1: TruTrans is a delusion cooked up by insecure trannies to make themselves feel better
2: Even Natal Females learn this shit from somewhere. Jesus can you drop the tranny wars bullshit for five seconds please?
>>
It came naturally to me

If you have to learn it you are NOT (tru)trans tbqh
>>
>>7861922
End the D&C.
>>
>>7858621
>How did you learn to do all the girly stuff?
I don't get this. Unless it's something like make-up what the fuck even is learning girly stuff? Are you talking about behaviour? "learning" behaviour sounds fucking creepy and borderline AGP...
>>
>>7862002
Literally cis people learn behavior.
>>
>>7862031
Yeah but they don't "learn" gender signaling (for lack of a better term); they learn how to conform socially.
>>
>>7858621
I actually grew up with a older sister and used to hang out with her and her friends all the time when I was young. I also hung out with nothing but girls since elementary to high school, I picked up on some stuff like the little things. When it came down to my own transition though makeup and stuff like that I was kind of lost and learned alot from the internet. Also alot of the girls I hung around with really didn't use makeup till like after high school I don't think it was a big thing like it is now.
>>
>>7862290
>Also alot of the girls I hung around with really didn't use makeup till like after high school I don't think it was a big thing like it is now.
I don't like that it's becoming a bigger thing.
>>

I read some Teen Vogue and Rookie the other day and there were simple tips & stuff like that. Also positive, self-esteem and identity reinforcing messages. And Teen Vogue has been doing actual journalism wrt the current nationalist socialism movement since before the election, they deserve more money
>>
>>7862002
OP here. I was talking more about makeup, hair styling, figuring out which colors best suit you, etc. Basically, stuff that you'd learn if you were a cis girl, not behavioral stuff.
>>
>>7861681
>>7861922

t. low IQ HSTS who thinks anyone is talking about behavior
>>
>>7858621
>MtFs, did any of you grow up without sisters or close female friends you were out to?
I had no sisters or close friends (let alone female). I was the eldest of three.

>How did you learn to do all the girly stuff?
I didn't. My parents tried to crush the femininity out of me. I only learned a few things by watching my mother from a distance.
>>
>>7858640
FTM, but my parents did the same to me. I was locked up in the house a lot and wasn't allowed to choose my own friends.
>>
>>7858640
>>7866465
Who the fuck locks their child up? How did you cope?
>>
>>7858621
>did any of you grow up without sisters or close female friends you were out to?
only child
no friends outside of school time
>how did you learn to do all the girly stuff?
internet and looking at the popular girls at school
>>
>>7866475
I used to read a lot of books and play single player games

Mommy really wanted a girl and daddy didn't want me at all so they didn't have issues hurting me

Surprise surprise abuse and neglect your kids their whole life then they want to be a girl later. Also make sure to kick them out of your house after they want to be a girl because you're a christfag lol
>>
>>7866616
This is why I unironically support sex selective abortions. If the parents want a boy/girl, it's going to be miserable for the kid if they are the wrong sex.

>abortion
>christfag
Yes, it wouldn't have helped you, but think of the Muslim girls.
>>
>>7866676
No, my mother told me often she wanted to abort me but she was blackmailing my father for child support and needed me alive since it was unlikely she could conceive again
>>
>>7866691
That's horrible. How did her wanting a girl come across in how she treated you?
>>
>>7864780
You didn't include >>7862002 a-am I too high IQ for HSTS?
>>
>>7862053
Gender signalling and social conformity are mostly the same.
>>
>>7867640
They are related in a way but still different enough to warrant distinction. I had to learn both at different stages as a born male, but in a broader social context observing gender norms is not quite the same as observing polite social conventions. For instance when around boys at school I tried to conform to expectations of my birth sex as well as social norms, when around girls I only adhered to social norms.
>>
>>7867679
examples of the differences please?
>>
>>7858621
I was always naturally girly lol. If you have to learn how to be girly then are you even trans?
>>
>>7867686
I don't really know how to explain it, it's too subtle and nuanced for me to properly comprehend let alone explain but to put it as best I can
>Being competitive in situations that didn't warrant it
>Asserting dominance over weaker/lesser members of the group

I suppose you could say this applies to both genders equally though for males it's physical and females it's emotional with some overlap, I was probably just oblivious to the way girls did it because I was accustomed to physical aspects.

Could you explain how they're the same?
>>
>>7867709
>If you have to learn how to be girly then are you even trans?
Trained to it by parents/relatives.
>>
>>7867601

Yup, no doubt about it. The fact that you had the intelligence to consider that things like makeup are what is being talked about indicates you are AGP-scum.

Look at Kayla. An AGP smart enough to shamelessly imitate the low IQ HSTS, but not enough to realize that would not trick anyone. >>7867709
>>
>>7867752
Im not agp, agps are turned on by themselves and i sicken myself so if anything im the opposite of agp
>>
>>7867752
So you're one of the rare HSTS? Or another self-loathing AGP?
>>
>>7867797

Only attractive AGPs arouse themselves. Self-hatred is common among the rest. What arouses all AGPs is an idealized image of their female self.
>>
>>7867797
Repressed AGP. Sad!
>>
>>7867721
Gender signals are things you do yourself, social conformity is the way you interact with others. Both are just gendered behavior and there isn't a real difference. The way you act in social situations that aren't directly aimed at another person could be called either for example.

>though for males it's physical and females it's emotional with some overlap
What are the overlapping things?
>>
>>7867835
Oh, I see, thanks. Emotional aggression from males, shaming, etc. not too sure what physical females do aside from actual fighting which is somewhat rarer in my experience.
>>
>>7866475
I developed severe depression and all the isolation fucked up by ability to socialize at school.
>>
>>7867804

I'm AGP, but not self-hating over it. I'm just joking around about HSTS IQ.
>>
>>7875559
>I'm AGP, but not self-hating over it.
Are you not transitioning then?
>>
>>7875580

I am transitioning. I just don't see a reason to hate myself over being AGP anymore. And if I had had a proper upbringing I wouldn't have hate myself over it to begin with. There's plenty of reason to hate myself over my laziness and lack of success though.
>>
>>7875613
How could upbringing have stopped you hating yourself for being AGP?

wut. How does that make any sense at all? Surely sex ed would be mandatory.
>>
>>7875654

>wasn't approved for sex ed as i failed algebra

The fuck? What kind of stupid shit is that? Also, why would you be taking sex ed and algebra after turning 16? That's late as fuck.
>>
>>7861772
>which colors best suit you
Well, no, it will give you magical girl powers of having good sense of style. But I agree with the makeup part, that shit sucks. Also hair, accessories, nails even fashions to a degree all of those you'll have to learn on your own.
>>
>>7875678
they probably just thought i was screwing around. very conservative folks
>>7875709
in the states its required to pass sex ed before graduation. a year before that i took the ged which is how i ended up never taking it. also at the time it was required that a parent or guardian sign for sex ed before the child is at least 16. my folks apparently dont want me to breed - can't blame em - so they refused which is why i never got it earlier

this is something that i think will be a highlight of disappointment of the way i think of the states
>>
"learn"? When you're trans you're naturally feminine
>>
>>7876629

I live in the US myself, and from my experience that appears to be a problem with whatever shitty school district you grew up in. Sex education wasn't a requirement for graduation as far as I could tell in my experience, but they covered it long before 16 years of age. I might be a bit of a different case since I've been under a number of different school systems. The first time sex ed (or maybe it was all really just about puberty than sex) was covered was when I was attending a charter school in 5th grade. In that case, parental consent was required. To my surprise and dismay, my mother gave her consent. I had thought that since my mother hadn't given me permission to go on a field trip to this care facility for people with HIV/AIDS the year before, she wouldn't give her permission for sex ed. I sat outside the class anyway because I didn't want to hear it. Then middle school had sex ed covered a couple of times as part of a small unit in my biology classes and health/teen choices electives. I attended middle school in Orlando, by the way.

>>7876911

This stupidity is contagious, isn't it? It's too common not to be.
>>
>>7876629
>they probably just thought i was screwing around.
How did they spot it though? And what could they say? It's not one of those "that toy is for girls" situations.

Why would they tell a 16yo they can't do sex ed?
>>
>>7876911
No shit, but being naturally feminine won't teach you how to braid hair and walk in heels.
>>
>>7858621
I learnt that every cis bitch that you hang out with eventually turns on you and talks shit about you behind your back once you start looking better than them.
>>
If you didn't always act feminine / transition to female behavior naturally without trying during transition you're not trutrans
>>
>>7878407
>still hasn't figured out that no one is talking about mannerisms
>>
>>7878401

How many times have you had that happen to you?
>>
>>7876994
im not 100% on this but theres probably alot of leeway with the individual states and districts
>>7877074
probably because they saw a 6-9 year old fluffin around in his pants which is the greatest thing in the world
>>
>>7875638

It's not like I hated my AGP as its own discrete thing. I didn't feel shame over the sexual part of my desire to transition, so my AGP was just tacked onto my desire to be a girl in general, and I felt shame of that as a whole. Perhaps because my AGP wasn't that strong on its own in the beginning, more like a curiosity. With that in mind, my bastard father not seeing trannies as being in their right mind did a lot to cause me to shame myself for my desire to transition. One moment when I was in middle school in particular led to me trying to split myself off from my desire. Later on, I'm not sure when, but certainly at the least after starting junior year is when I started feeling shame for the AGP specifically. I don't feel shame for the AGP anymore because it's really silly to.
>>
>>7879673
>It's not like I hated my AGP as its own discrete thing. I didn't feel shame over the sexual part of my desire to transition,
This is nice to hear for a change!

What was the shame you felt over your desire to be a girl in general?

What was the moment in middle school? How did you try to split yourself off from it?

Why did you feel shape for the AGP specifically later?
>>
>>7878440
Even mannerisms are learned, apart from ones that are simply a result of physical dimorphism.
