Before this board existed there was /hm/ were guys would share sexual stories, then just stories, then it came more political. Soon topics were not about hot men or sex and were about gay stuff. At the same time traps were popular but they did not belong on /hm/ and the trannies were coming the /hm/ to talk. So they made /lgbt/ as a discussion board for /hm/
