Women can get MPB which starts at the temples, then at the crown and then the two connect leaving a small tuft at the middle (ever seen a guy wear his hat backwards with his hair sticking out? Well now you know why.) But in women it's super rare.

Female Pattern Hairloss starts along the central parting and then slowly grows like a circle with the hairline being the last thing to go. It's also very uncommon.

The most common cause of hairloss in women is wearing tight pony tails, then the hairline recedes like in MPB.
