Sex outside of a relationship is okay. Both straight and LGB people do it.
Though since finding a long-term partner is more tricky for LGBT people, hookups and casual sex seem to be more prominent among them.

people just dont want to settle down with just one single person. that's why you see couples in open relationships and they have sex with others or make it into a group session. seeing someone better looking than bf that wants to have sex with you, that temptation kinda causes problems imo

well i must be in the minority then. i have a rather low sex drive, i just want to be with someone i can relax and feel comfortable with. trust and rapport isn't built overnight and i don't want to have to do it a million times with different people.

of course what i said don't apply to everyone and there are people out there with similar views. but there's also those that are in open relationships that recognize that sex is just sex and that their relationship hinges on emotional feelings rather than physical feelings. i know of one couple that's quasi-open and theyve been together for years, so it could work
