How do some trannies get their parents to pay for their surgeries?

How can you possibly be so entitled lol, my family can barely pay the bills but they still love me. I've done hormone treatment but theres no way i could even justify using my own money for surgeries while people in my family are still in the positions they are.

It's just luck. My family does well financially. And, when I came out as trans, my parents loved me unconditionally and vowed to help me in any way possible. This even includes my dad, who is a Trump supporter. They want me to be able to live a normal life. They want to help me pay for whatever I need to help me pass.

My mom says a lot that she doesn't understand how parents couldn't support their children in something like this. I feel sorry for so many of you. I want to give you a hug.

I started HRT at 23. I was in college at the time. I'm 26 now. I graduated when I was 25, freeing up time to get the surgeries I wanted. My parents paid for FFS that I got last year, and I'm getting VFS this year. After that, I hope to get SRS in 2018.

Hey, I am the OP that you linked too.

My father is very transphobic and homophobic, the reason he's helping me pay for surgeries is becouse he wants his "daughter" to be as passable as possible so I have little to no chance of being outed and "shaming my family."

It's some sort of fucked up kind of love.

He wants a cis normative child.

Got lucky; parents could afford it. I'm paying them back after I graduate, to be clear.
