What are stereotypical tranny clothes? I know about shit like rainbow thigh highs and chokers, or bowties and flannel for FtMs, but what are the more subtle choices that distinguish tranny fashion from cis?
>>
anything school-girly or not age appropriate for trans women. If a cis woman wouldn't wear it at that age, then a trans woman shouldn't be either, (unless she wants to stand out)
>>
Wearing fetish collars in public
>>
Anything a little too sexual/weird to be practical for everyday use: ie; school girl uniforms, Gothic Lolita influenced clothes, anything Gothic, fishnets, leather, blue hair, black lipstick, short skirts, platinum blonde hair, red lips(especially when pared with eyeliner, chokers, long fake nails, thigh high boots etc.

things that are not tranny: ordinary basic bitch atire , normal muted colors, natural makeup, clothes with reasonable cuts

for ftm: nightmare before christmas stuff, tim burtin stuff, ear gauges. lots of weird tatoos

things that are not tranny:
polo shirts, normal hair, not too many tattoos and piercings. wife beaters, high quallity taylored clothes

>tl;dr be a tasteless normie
Why you singled out shit only alt. culture people wear is beyond me, but it's pretty funny.

MtF: Turtleneck sweaters, scarves, chokers, hoodies, striped stockings, black scoop-necks/v-necks are the first things that come to mind. Also guilty of dressing like retail workers or trying painfully hard to dress Basic Bitch but not having a personality to match.

FtM: Baggy clothes, camo patterns, work boots, snapback hats, striped shirts, plaid patterns, wristwatches, hipster hats.
>>
A lot of people say stripes in general are a tranny clothes mee. I know I have way too many black and white striped things...

As others have said dress your age but you can still dress fancy/alt if you want.

>especially when paired with
I think this is the key. Single items can work well and not really look weird, it's the stack that fucks it.

Spot on.
There's also the rainbow socks / panties combo when attentionwhoring on beta boards like /r9k/ too.
>>
>>7813310
Looks more gay than tranny almost
>>
>>7805129
there's a way to be "alt" without dressing like a literal hooker or a 14 year old goth from 2006

>>7805052
though i feel like wife beaters are definitely closer to meme ftm wear, and polos are hit or miss unless you're over the age of 40
>>
>>7813310
average tumblr girl/10. you made it, congrats

though imo that shirt is pretty tacky if it's the actual one you own

yeah it is

look at how well it fits in with my other clothes that are actually men's :)))

seriously its the only shirt that has sleeves that end where they're supposed to and it actually stops at around where my pants begin

i like to imagine it doesnt really seem that tacky on someone who's 5'2 and just fades into masses
>>
>>7805052
>anything Gothic

Whelp, so much for half of my future wardrobe. Ill just stick with comfy, androgynous shirts and pants.
>>
>>7813310
>eastern european street whorey
idk where you live but here in canada those are completely normal

fuck puffer jackets tho, diamond quilting is where it's at

That backpack is a lesbian beacon, especially paired with weed.
