I saw a /pol/ idiot recently commenting on a vid from a youtube celeb. It started out awkward, the usual saying this was his ideal girl, and then saying she's wrong to feel uncomfortable about stalkers. He went from creepy to crazy in less than a day. My first year of university, as a Gen Ed. requirement, I took a class on "Globalization." It was taught by an African Muslim immigrant.

He was a highly intelligent man, well-spoken and thoughtful and fair to his students.

He got into local politics a few years ago. I actually didn't mind him much having office at a local level, because he's done well.

But now he's making noises about a national level in my country, which I will fiercely oppose if he runs. You know why?

I would personally not take kindly to people telling me to throw out everything I know and believe because I discovered something new about my sexuality. But then, is what I believe nuanced enough to simultaneously reflect reality AND my personal values?

I am bisexual and transgender, and I was those things before I ever found /pol/ (or related material, /pol/ is actually way down the list of things that influenced my opinions on race and nationalism).

I know that I myself am not a degenerate slut because I am attracted to both sexes, I know that my transgenderism is a real medical condition (which people have suffered from for thousands of years!), and I know that my transition is the best currently available treatment for it and it is making me very happy. I know that I am a more productive member of society if I am okay with those things about myself. I wish I were a cishet so that I could produce white children; but it was never my fate. Every society has some people that don't produce kids for whatever reason (like medical conditions). My role is auxiliary, that's all.

I suggest developing some nuance here: the problem with fags is immoral behaviour and the spread of disease, not homosexuality PER SE.

The more you obsess over having the "wrong" sexual interests, the more you will fixate on them. Relax, jerk it to what strikes your fancy in the moment, and move on. IT'S JUST MASTURBATION. Nothing depends on you doing it "right."
