Are the suicide rate for ftms as high as mtfs?

Is there even a specific rate of suicide for mtfs vs ftms? I thought there was just a combined rate

ftms are a notoriously under-researched minority. i don't think you could find even one almost-reliable statistic, aside from general lgbt suicide rates. maybe for specific demographics like american teens

That's quite a lot harder to study than suicide attempts, especially if you realize than some people may commit suicide rather than pursue transition at all.

If society loves to shit on non masculine men then that effects ftms seeing as that's what most present as, Shorter, baby-faced etc, rather than masculine women.
