In Australia we aren't allowed to carry weapons. I spent years being harassed so I eventually took up MMA during my teen repression years. I'm no where near as strong as I used to be but I feel if push came to shove I could still win a fight against most average men.

Most people live through 9mm, and most people live through .45. It's because EMTs and hospitals exist. If you use decent ammo then there's no functional difference between common carry cartridges except for magazine capacity, and putting more holes in the threat will always be more effective than putting fewer holes in the threat.
