>lactating, what's the chances of it happening?
Since everyone else is silent, I'll try to answer this... as little as I know about it. There is some chance of it happening but no guarantee. Only prolactin would guarantee it. Sadly, prolactin's OTHER effects are very similar to anti-androgens.
>>
>>7794422
Lactating seems really rare. You might get some fluids from your nipples as they start growing though, but you won't really produce anything more than a drop or two if you squeeze them probably.

Although even cis men can lactate under the appropriate stimulation (sucking/pumping etc.) I think. And I have also heard that a transwoman was able to induce lactation by experimenting with prolactin and stuff.

But on normal HRT it's not so likely. If you have someone to suck on your breasts every day and think motherly thoughts then it might actually shift your hormones into making it more likely, I suppose.

I have several questions:

I'm currently on 4mg of Estrofem that I'm taking sublingually and I'd like to know how that transfers to injections.

I've been looking at these:

https://www.inhousepharmacy.vu/p-333-progynon-depot-10mg.aspx

Will 30 ampules be enough for 6 months?

I also had a question about Finasteride.

InHouse Pharmacy is currently out of 5mg of Finasteride; is 1mg enough? I'm only just beginning to lose hair on my hairline.

Lastly,

I was thinking of switching from Cypro(50mg) to Bica, but I don't know the correct dose to take!

If I could get a dosage sheet for it I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks! Sorry for the wall of text!
>>
>>7795384
dosage calculation varies person to person based on how well your liver previously digested pills.

99% of patients do well on 10mg est val IM q7days, but the only way to know if your est is right is to blood test. you might have to push back to q8days.

30 ampules will be enough for 7 months and 2 weeks. 4 weeks a month. 1 amp a week.

bica dose? idk i cant find any sources. as far as i can tell, its take whatever dosage gives you symptom relief. most people are taking 25mg every day. i see a few taking 25mg twice a day and a few taking 25mg every other day.
>>
>>7795384
30 vials should more than cover 6 months. There are only 52 weeks in a year, and with those you do one injection per week
>>
>>7795384
>finasteride
yeah 1mg is only 1% less effective than 5mg. i had the chart bookmarked but its not loading.

quarter the tablets.

...I have read online that bica blocks dht. dont have a source on that though, might want to google it
>>
>>7795463

How do progesterone injections work?

Should I just go all in and get the 200 one?
>>
>>7795530
For all I know, le progesterone creme is une technique supreme.
>>
>>7795527
You probably have to buy syringes and needles separarely. You want a smaller diameter (higher gauge) needle for the injection, probably like 27G. What you can do is use a low gauge needle to suck up the estrogen from the ampoule, and then remove the needle from the syringe, and swap on a 27G needle, and then inject yourself. Or you could probably just do it all with a 27G, but it might be a hassle to suck up all the estrogen with such a small needle. ymmv but anyway here:

https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=27G+needle&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3A27G+needle

https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=18G+needle&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3A18G+needle
>>
>>7795527
>>7795599

Needles are cheap though (100 pcs is like 12$). So if you want to make sucking up the drug easier you could get 18G needles for that purpose and then like 27G for injection. For like $20-25 it could last you about 2 years so it's not really a huge investment.
>>
>>7795592
Is it like an everyday thing for the creme?

Am I just rubbing it on my tits and hips or something?
>>
>>7795599
>>7795618
Also you don't need to necessarily get 27G, but I think that's what I used when I did injections, if I remember correctly. Anyway, smaller needles are easier to bend and take longer to draw/inject but they hurt less and don't do as much damage to the tissue.
>>
>>7795527
Also make sure you sterilize the area with alcohol and a cotton wipe or something before you inject.
>>
>>7795599
>>7795618
>>7795627
>>7795637
What about the "filter" needles or whatever?

Can't I accidentally inject myself with glass if I don't get those?
>>
>>7795623
Yes, that's what I've read everywhere.
>>
>>7795672
I guess it's theoretically possible and I have heard that but I've never used it. Just open the ampoule properly and carefully and it shouldn't be an issue.

Look up how to open ampoules properly too.

Also make sure you change sites if you feel a strong tingling or pain because that's a nerve, and always remember to draw the needle up and check for blood before injecting. If you see blood come up into the needle you need to change sites because otherwise you'll inject into a blood vessel (bad).

Maybe I should make a basic infographic or like image about this... hmm..
>>
>>7795675
On InHouse 60 applications of that creme is almost 300 dollars.

Are you sure it's applied every day?
>>
So, I'm trying to enter the system and I want to be able to communicate how long I have been self medicating to the doctor. I also kinda just want to know in general. So, what do you think an equivalent timespan of continuous normal doses is that corresponds to my dosage history?

>First dose July 23 2016 of 100mg spiro elevated to 200mg on 24th. Last dose taken August 13th in the early morning. Total 42 100mg spiro pills. Estimated 4mg progynova doses started within first half of first week. Total ~36 2mg progy pills.
>Nothing August 13-Mid September.
>Very poor useage of remainder of pills some time in September. No definite time frame and many missed doses due secrecy and such. Target was 200mg spiro and 4mg progy daily. Actual amounts varied between 0 of both and 200mg spiro and 6mg progy daily. Last 14 spiro pills were slightly weened off. Maybe 30 progy pills were consumed during this month long period.
>Mid October - November 18 Nothing
>November 18 - January 2, Sporadically taking 200mg spiro and 2mg progy (~20 2mg pills total)
>January 2 - January 22 consistent ~1.25mg fin and 200mg spiro. Weened off to ~1.25mg fin and 100mg spiro at end week-couple weeks
>January 23 - present 200mg spiro, 4mg progy, ~1.25mg fin daily

I want to know what I can compare to in terms of HRT changes timelines and Finasteride hair regrowth. I was thinking about 2 months HRT and a month and a half of fin. Does that sound about right?

Mine said it can be used anywhere on your skin, but I usually put it on my chest. It said "a dime-sized dollop" but Idk how much that is, if thats supposed to be a dollop with the circumference of a dime or with the volume of a dime, so I just use the same as the toothpaste I put on my toothbrush.

I don't believe lsd has any drug interactions other than maybe with certain antidepressants due to serotonin syndrome. It doesn't have any sort of liver interactions or anything so you should be just fine.
>has anyone else experienced a deep need to orgasm on lsd but they weren't able to?
I've never tried masturbating on acid, I've tried it once on mushrooms but could never orgasm. Not being able to orgasm is common on psychedelics though since orgasming is all tied into the serotonin/dopamine system and when you're high that's all screwy. There's nothing you can do about it though, it's just a side effect.

finasteride helps prevent the conversion of testosterone to DHT (which is likely a large factor in hair loss)
finasteride is mostly used to slow down the loss of hair, and doesn't usually cause regrowth (around 30% of people experience regrowth)

>>
>>7819231
No. Get a blood test to make sure your medication isn't fake or something.

Are you sure there haven't been any changes? Not even softer skin or less frequent/strong erections or anything?
>>
>>7818449
Depends on how young you are when you start. Teen to early 20s essentially the same if not longer , after that you're starting to throw the dice a bit. Late 30s and you're putting your health in serious jeopardy.
>>
>>7819189
No, I didn't pay extra for tracking. Is it 3 weeks without the tracked shipping, or slower?
>>
>>7819430
Yep no visible changes.
I don't get random boners and my libido is very low and the cummies are clear liquid.
>>
>>7819231
I saw you post this in /mtfg/ twice
currently I'm at 4 months, and my skin is softer, I have breast buds, my butt is visibly bigger, and I've had on and off hip pain
not exaggerating any of that at all so its weird to me that you notice nothing at all
probably half of that I'd noticed in the first two months
I started right after my 23rd birthday, and you're like under 20 right?
I wish I could give you advice anon :/
>>
>>7819231
Zero changes? No.
Changes that are closer to imperceptible, yes.
Give it two more months. I'd still double check the meds, but I wouldn't stop for that reason.

If they're fake, you gotta start all over.

>testosterone levels so low to be a health hazard
this happened to me when i nuked my T so effectively with degarelix that my QTc jumped to about 480.
unlike the person in OP image, i liked having my libido kill tho.

when it comes to using androgenic compounds as a tranny or anyone else who doesn't want to virilize, i wish SARMs (selective androgen receptor modulators) were more available and affordable.
their anabolic:androgenic ratio gets really high, so brilliant for protecting bone mineral density and muscle mass, whilst not affecting you in ways that turn you into a neanderthal lunk.

i don't know if things like RAD-140, LGD-4033 or MK-2866 help shorten the QT interval though. i also dunno how they would affect your energy, mood or libido. might be worth lookin up.

i personally don't want any bioidentical androgens or AAS' in me at all. SARMs I would be willing to try.

Now I've found this:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andarine
>[A SARM] for treatment of conditions such as muscle wasting [...] using the non-steroidal androgen antagonist bicalutamide as a lead compound.
>Its partial agonist effects [...] prevent the side effects associated with the anti-androgenic drugs.

This is strange because bicalutamide is supposed to destroy androgen receptors permanently. As such, it should be even worse than anti-androgens because anti-androgens only act while you take them.
>>
>>7829979
It doesn't destroy them permanently.

>Bicalutamide bonds to receptor
>Receptor/bicalutamide complex pulled into cell
>Bicalutamide makes receptor transcriptionally inactive
>Complex remains in cell until it decays
>New receptor is translated
>Repeat

>I'm pretty sure you're flattering yourself.

No, I worked in labor with much stronger guys. I still have a lot of muscle but I'm trying to get rid of it to be more proportionate because I'm fucking super tall and it's killing me by dysphoria. I do have more hips than her though thankfully and no adonis belt.

(Price/pack - quantity/pills - price/pill - price/day - price/year)

2mg Progy 16€÷84=0.19×4=0.76×365=278€/year (8mg/day)
50mg Cypro 50€÷56=0.89÷2=0.45×365=163€/year (25mg/day)
5mg Fina 50€÷28=1.79÷4=0.45×365=163€/year (1.25mg/day)

278+163+163=604€/year (÷shipping)

1pack Progy lasts 84÷4=21 days (17.4 packs/year)
1pack Cypro lasts 56×2=112 days (3.3 packs/year)
1pack Fina lasts 28×4=112 days (3.3 packs/year)

3-4 packs/shipment;
18+4+4=26 packs in 7-9 shipments at €15 ~ 105-135€/year

Total 604+135=739€=<$800/year

Yes, however make absolutely sure to inform your doctor and pharmacy and anyone that might know you're on HRT that you requested nobody except you is authorized to your personal health information.

What? Is your plan to look like Slenderman? Do you hate curves?
Confirmed for anorexic delusion.

If anything, tall people need THREE times the usual muscle mass to maintain the same level of curves (and fitness) as short people. Short women can get away with minimal muscles to look thick and stay fit.

In the attached example, the man looks masculine because he has TOO LITTLE muscles (and fat) for his stature. The woman looks feminine because she has MORE MUSCLES per inch of height (higher Body Mass Index) than him, even though her weight is probably less than a half of his. If their BMIs were equal, they would look equally feminine. But he would need to TRIPLE his muscle mass for that.

Both would also benefit from gaining some fat (in the right places).

Your answer appears supported by this:
>Bicalutamide (...) is useful in combination with the aromatase inhibitor anastrozole as a puberty blocker in the treatment of male precocious puberty.
They wouldn't give it to little boys if it destroyed their androgen receptors permanently.
>>
>>7824904 >>7829979
Sources say that Andarine was meant for preventing muscle loss from Bicalutamide "briefly".

What drug is meant to do it now that Andarine isn't? Who does those therapies? How do I get in contact with them? How do I become their patient?

The Internet doesn't mention details besides such vague and cryptic statements. It's as if it's meant to be Top Secret.

That makes no sense. Pretty sure it's not the amount of muscle that makes people look masculine or feminine. Guys who start bodybuilding don't become pretty traps, they just get big traps.

Transitioning is not an easy thing to do, but if you are prepared to deal with the challenges that come with it, feel free to go for it.

0.1mg transdermal estradiol patches and 200mg spironolactone gave me 240pg/mL and 15ng/dL respectively.

I wanted more estradiol because I'm a e whore and asked my doctor to switch to sublingual pills because 0.1mg transdermal is the max and doubling up would get expensive. So she gave me 2x3mg estrace (sublingual estradiol).

But the pharmacist warned me I wouldn't get as good results as the equivalent in patches.

Should I have just asked to wear 2 patches at a time and dealt with the extra cost? Is 6mg sublingual any better than 0.1mg transdermally?

DYI is more affordable than you think, but it's still expensive. If insurance isn't covering shit I'd say after the labwork and doctor visit costs you'll even break even if you're a little smart about it.

You can order lab tests yourself if you can find the right place online. Assuming you're US, privatemdlabs.com can order blood tests for you. The transgender one covers everything you'll probably want. There's a woman hormone panel as well if you're confident your metabolic, cbc and lipid levels are fine. Google around for privatemdlabs coupon, they change it once a month, but it'll give you 15% off any test. I pay $84.99 to have my T, E, lipid, metabolic and cbc tested. I highly doubt your doctor will be able to beat that. My clinic thought I was fucking joking when I told them how cheap I got it. Those fucking assholes will charge me $230 to test my estradiol alone.

It's why the freakout over Martin Shekeli raising the price of the antiparasitic drug was completely fabricated, because barely anybody would actually be paying the exorbitant cost of the medication, their insurance would.

Raise the eyebrows so that they sit above the browline instead of on it, shave the browline too but you probably know that anyway
Try to find women's noses that look similar to yours so you have something to show the surgeon, et cetera.
Try to figure out what you're doing with your face, and go with the surgeon who seems to get it the best.

Hey,
22 M 165lbs
I just got some
Cyproterone Acetate: 50mg
Estrofem: 2mg
I can't into reading comprehension, will someone please advise on what to take and when? I'm going in blind/no doctor or blood test.
>>
>>7848154
If you're just starting out, take 50mg cypro and 2mg estrofem daily. Then after a month go up to 4mg estrofem.
You'll probably want to take the cypro in the evening as it can make some people tired
>>
If switching from spiro to cypro reduced my T level from 283 ng/dl to 11 ng/dl, can I expect more muscle loss?

Muscle loss is literally the only thing I care about,.
>>
>>7848182
So I'll be taking the estrofem in the morning and the cypro in the evening.
Once the estro goes to 4mg should I take two tablets of it in the morning? Also should I take all of these after food?
>>
>>7848186
also i switched to cypro december of last year.
>>
>>7848204
you should split it between morning and evening when you move to 4mg
The estrofem you should be taking sublingually (dissolving it under the tongue) so food doesn't matter.
Some people find cypro gives them stomach problems if they don't take it with food, i often take mine w/o, up to you.
>>
>>7848186
>>7848224
also, try to be taking your pills at the same consistent times each day. I set an alarm on my phone at 8am and 8pm to help me.
>>
>>7848182
>>7848224
>>7848231

Tips from legbutts about hrt without growing blobs? The tamoxifen thing seems dangerous and side effect laden and not very effective. What if I just stay really skinny and don't gain any fat? No boobs then, right?
>>
Sigh...hrt without growing BOOBS*. Fucking autocorrect.
>>
>>7848806
my girlfriend had anorexia in middle school and her boobs are A cups
>>
>>7848818
so yeah starving yourself basically stunts all development.
>>
Well ffs, I'm not necessarily talking about being anorexic - right now I'm 5'8", 140 lbs. I figure that'll drop once muscle loss kicks in - maybe I should rephrase: does there exist a healthy balance between not being unhealthily underweight, but not having enough fat for breast growth? Or do those two ranges overlap?
>>
>>7848844
No. Unless you're literally starving you'll still grow breasts, if smaller and less well developed (so if you think small conetits are preferable to better-developed and slightly larger breasts then go ahead). Your fat will inevitably redistribute (just like fat in other areas); you don't need to gain more. Any side effects of SERMs are better than what you get for starving yourself.

>progesterone
I'm reading a lot about the gel or creme (ugh) but is anyone using the pills? How do you use them?
I have 100 mg pills of micronised progesterone and i used them every second day, also tried every second week, or every fourth week.
I'm unsure about the goldstandard of progesterone-use. Orchi was in 2016 and i haven't had any progesterone-like substances which would be useful for changes...
>>
>>7852342
I was on 6/50/1.25 up until a month ago, and during my last test which showed my E levels being low like yours after the 2mg dose the night before (since 4mg was taken during the day - after the test).

So I decided that about a month or so before my next test (next week) I'd up my E to 8 (even doses 2 times a day) and lower cypro to 25 and see what that result gives.

You're 18 anon give it a rest. If you really feel desperate, buy hormones online at proper dosages.
>>

http://www.annelawrence.com/hormone_regimens.html
by the numbers here, the progesterone gold standard is your dose twice daily
some of the doses there are a bit high so once daily is probably sufficient

oh, i should add: progesterone does drive me mad. I tried using it for 2 weeks straight, 100 mg every evening and i was constantly crying and having breakdowns like never bevore.
I'm on HRT since 2013 and used it mostly every fourth week for 10 days and never experienced that. I guess i will try 100 mg once a day, or about 2 doses in 3 days, missing one now and then.
>>
hi /lgbt/ can I get a bit of help with hormones?
I'm extremely stupid, so i want to clarify this.
I checked the hormone level site (http://www.hemingways.org/GIDinfo/hrt_ref.htm) and noticed that hormones for women vary based on the menstrual cycle. What dose should i take as a mtf? do I wanna "recreate" this menstrual cycle with my hormones too or just take them like every day or so?~
I'd really appreciate your help!
Thanks and have a nice day <3 c:
>>
>>7853447
Some mtfs do this, but your better off starting slow and getting used to the side effects/changes before trying such a regimen.
>>
>>7853618
is there a way to know what doses should I take? or do i just trust google and use stuff like this chart: http://www.trans-health.com/2002/hrt-self-medication/
>>
>>7853634
It is recommended that you take blood tests at regular intervals to measure your hormone levels when beginning. You can adjust your dosages accordingly until you reach female hormone levels. You can trust online sources, just read plenty of them, so you are not dependent on one source.

>>

>>
>>7856127
cypro is a progestin, which is a shitty form of progesterone with more side effects
it was not designed for antiandrogen purposes, progestins just lower androgen production
progestins also have detrimental effects on physical and mental health when paired with estrogen that other antiandrogens do not have
switch your aa and add progesterone alongside it

Alright I just bought another lab test after I took my sublingual estrogen a few hours after my last one and messed up the results.

I don't want to take any chances this time so I'm gonna ask a pretty dumb question.

Should I take my estrogen and AA the night before the test? I usually take it at 9:30pm and my test is scheduled for 10am.

Also, should I be fasting for this test? I planned on it but didn't know if it was required.

Here are my last test results for reference. How are my levels for (then) 2 and a half months?

Tell them flat out that you're not going to let them fuck with you, tell them to give you an effective dose, or threaten to go to a different doctor who will prescribe what you need, or threaten to self-medicate. If they have any integrity, the doctor will immediately capitulate at the threat of self-medication, because doing so puts you at massive health risks that as a medical professional, they should do everything in his power to reduce those risks.
If they still refuse, go to another doctor or just go to InHouse

What kind of estradiol did you get prescribed?
My estrogen tests got me over 100 pg/ml with only 1mg/day of estrace.

However with 200mg spiro/day I still had too much of testosterone. I am on 400/day now, and my doc is considering trying another anti-androgen if it isn't effective.
25mg of spiro is not nearly enough, I started at 100mg/day.
