Research on the topic is politially volatile. Aside from transition, the therapies for related psych problems like body integrity disorder are probably the most effective.

Being in a society where there's less formality about "acting like a man" and where being a man who likes girly shit also makes a big difference.

I'd recommend being a stoner, helped my gender dysphoria a lot.
