I have a job that requires practically no work, so I have a lot of time to study and shitpost etc. Well, I happened to have a random boost of confidence this one evening, and, while lurking the board, I saw a thread asking how the OP would get a girlfriend with certain conditions, and I thought I'd be his dream gf if I was a girl. It turned out to be the case that this person was a boy living about 100 km (60 miles in freedom units) away from me, and we actually had a nice chat in that thread. The next day we continued, and (if I remember correctly) we posted to each other on the board for three days until we exchanged our Steam accounts and started talking via that. Sadly, OP never got a gf but congratulated us for apparently finding nice boyfriend candidates.

We then eventually met. Both being socially awkward, I just checked him out on the surface and realized this one's a real cutie. We spent a few hours together and then he left home. All in all, the day was really nice and I hoped I'd see him again. Later on I realized I had fallen in love with this guy.

Weeks passed until finally he broke the ice and asked if I remember the thread that started it all. I was amazed, I didn't think I'd have any chances to attract anyone like him, but it worked. We decided we'd try out if our thing works, and it seems we would just fall more deeply in love with each other day by day after that.
